I was at Wynnstay Road polling booth and witnessed the hostile actions of the Labor campaign heavies intimidating members of the Orrong Group. The group were forced to abandon handing out cards and questionnaires there. We moved on to the Toorak school booth and similar but less hostile actions resulted in the Orrong Group being forced to abandon this booth also. At the time none of the group realised that this over reaction was most likely due to insecurity.
